The Dennis Hotel, an historic structure that dates back to 1860, has been completely restored and exists today as one of the hotel sections of Bally's Atlantic City Hotel. RECENT EXPANSION
Guests of Bally's Atlantic City Hotel have convenient access to the North Tower casino floor, Palace Theater, and Lucky's Lounge via "The Gateway," a $25 million expansion that was completed in July 2002. The Gateway connects the second floor of the North Tower casino floor to the hotel lobby of Bally's, joining the properties at Pacific Avenue and Brighton Park, along Park Place.
In addition to the enclosed walkbridge, the Gateway includes approximately 10,000 square feet of retail space and a 12,000 square foot ballroom that is accessible from the sixth floor of Bally's Atlantic City. With this addition Bally's Atlantic City Hotel offers a total of 33 meeting rooms with more than 80,000 square feet of meeting and convention space.
